We had a great Christmas. It went by really fast. I worked the week before and after, so I didn't have a lot of time to slow down and enjoy it. I didn't even get a pic of me and Jesse together. Here is Hunter's Christmas pic! He is soooo cute.

Jesse's Bday pics
We had raspberry and oreo mini cheesecakes for dessert. Jesse got a panini maker for his birthday. We got a bunch of sandwhich stuff and invited everyone over. Jesse thought it was kinda weird that we were having sandwhiches for dinner....then he opened his panini press. He loves it!!!

WooooHoooooo
Jesse got his first deer. He was soooo excited. Me, dad and Carrie drove out with my dad's truck cause I didn't want a mess in the four runner. He shot it right in the neck so he didn't ruin any meat. It was gutted and ready to go when we got there. Jesse had watched youtube videos the night before on how to gut a deer. My dad said he did a perfect job. We now have some steaks, summer sausage and my favorite...pepperoni sticks. They are delish!!! Here are some pics of Jesse's deer.

Anniversary Pics
We didn't really do much for our Anniversary because I had to work Saturday, Saturday night and Sunday night. By the time Monday rolled around, I was exhausted. So, Jesse took me out to our favorite mexican restaurant, Ixtapa!!! It was delicious. As a matter of fact I could eat some right now!!

Newport
I have never been to the coast when the weather was this nice. There wasn't a cloud in the sky. The wind was a little chilly, but the ocean was beautiful. Hunter was a good boy and got to run on the beach off leash. He even got in the water a little.

Rooster Rock Hike
When me and Jesse found out we were moving back to Oregon, we made a list of all the things we wanted to do. One of those things was hiking Rooster Rock, which we had never done. It was a great place to take Hunter. There was only a few people up there so he was fine off leash. He loved it.
As we were hiking we walked past a group of older women. One looked at Hunter and said cute dog. Then she looked up at Jesse and said "wow, you are pretty cute too." He didn't know what to say and got embarrased. It made me laugh.
The trail we took up to the top was approx three miles long. Let me tell you, it was straight up. I didn't think I could make it and about 500 feet from the top, I asked Jesse if we could turn around. Of course I didn't know we were so close. Anyway, I don't think I will ever do that hike again. It was a little too steep for me.

Hunter's Birthday
I can't believe Hunter is already one year old. I love him so much!! For his birthday I got him and Roscoe some puppy ice cream! I am not sure what is in it, but they loved it. I also got Hunter some new toys which he destroyed in a matter of minutes.

Sister graduates

So, Carrie's graduation was on Tuesday. I took the day off from work so me and Jesse could go down. Unfortunately, it was raining like crazy so the graduation was moved from outside to the gym. Each family was only given a few tickets. My family ended up with five. We had to make a decision who was going to go and my mom said we had to draw straws. Me and Jesse just decided to sit out. I was sad, but apparantly it was a claustrophobic mad house! My mom, dad, Colin, Jolie and Meagan got to go.
I am so proud of my little sister. She is smart, beautiful and very talented. She will be going to Chemeketa and getting a degree in dental hygiene through OIT. Wonderful career choice if I do say so myself. Sister...I love you so much. :)

Another birthday..imagine that
Happy 27th Birthday to my sister Bo. I can't believe you are so old. J/K. I am right behind you.
Top 5 reasons I love you so much:
1. You are very creative and thoughtful
2. You always want to hang out with me even when I am annoying
3. You make delish macaroons and stuffed angel food cake
4. You get me great birthday presents
5. You are beautiful inside and out.
Hope you had a great day. Brunch was such a great idea.

Hunter...Hunting
So, we took Hunter to Field of Dreams to be trained with live birds. This is his second training. Hunter started out a little rough. He got on a pigeon and flushed it himself without holding point. So every time he got on a scent he would flush the bird and chase...Bad dog!! It was raining so the trainer was hesitant to get a chukar because they can't fly well in the rain. She finally decided to give Hunter a try even though he hadn't held a point on any of the pigeons. As soon as he smelled the chukar he froze and pointed. Jesse came up and flushed the bird and shot, but missed. Hunter got one more try. We were about fifty yards away and Hunter was on a chukar. He pointed and I thought there is no way he is going to hold long enough for Jesse to get there and flush, but he did. Jesse flushed the bird and shot and Hunter ran after it. Retrieving is another story...something to work on. He wouldn't even put it in his mouth. More to come... Below is Hunter's point. Incredible that it is just instict.
